Dodgers rally, but Braves hang on to win game two of NLCS

The game started off great. Ian Anderson pitched well(four innings, zero earned runs, five walks, five strikeouts), but late in the game the Los Angeles Dodgers showed that they still have bats and came to within one run in the ninth inning, coming dangerously close to tieing the game with the tieing run at third.

Not to take away from the positives of the game. The Braves scored early this time, including another homer for MVFree and Ozzie Albies to get the Braves eight runs.

Most important of all, the Braves used small ball at times, something very well needed.

The relief pitching was okay, minus O’day and worst of all, Josh Tomlin(who hasn’t pitched in two and a half weeks) who had the Braves fans clutching their hearts but to no avail Mark Melancon closed the door, and the Braves go on to win 8-7.

A true nailbiter.

Fun facts: For the second day in a row Ozzie Albies hit a homer and Mark Melancon caught it again in the bullpen!

Mark Melancon ends the game and Braves win.

Kyle Wright will take the mound in game three as the Braves look to win game three, and move one step closer to their first World Series in 21 years.

Here’s to NO drama tonight! Game time 6:05 pm eastern, FS1.
