After dropping their series to the St Louis Cardinals. Atlanta Braves Fans are wondering what will happen to pitcher Julio Teheran.
Teheran is in the final year of a six year contract extension and Braves will decide whether or not to pick up the last year of the contract.
To give more insight on what you should expect. Here’s Mark Bowman tweet on the matter.
Seems like $18 million for Flowers + Teheran is excessive spending. Is it not possible to decline those club options and still negotiate to bring one or both back? Then allocate the saved funds elsewhere like a Grandal and/or Wheeler?

With no other internal candidates, exercising Flowers' option ($6M) is necessary. There's reason to debate whether they should exercise Markakis' option ($6M) given he'd likely fill a platoon role. As for Teheran ($12M), I think they'll look for a cheaper option. https://t.co/3NRoiEWaJI
